Why do I need dog remote trainers?

If you have a dog with a problem behaviour that you can’t fix, then you really need to try one of the new dog remote trainers. These are one of the best dog training products available today and they will help you to permanently stop your dog from misbehaving. You will find that even professionals use these dog training collars to help them train their dogs for off lead work – they are that good.

Does your dog have any of these nuisance behaviours?
If your dog has any of these annoying habits, then you should consider retraining them using a dog remote training collar.

• Killing or chasing wildlife in the bush or in your garden.

• Pulling washing off the line.

• Digging holes in your lawn or vegetable patch.

• Humping guests in your house.

• Chewing your sofa in the family room.

• Unwanted aggressive behaviour to people or animals.

If you can say yes to any of the above behaviours or can think of any other behaviours that you wish your dog didn’t do – then one of these fabulous dog training collars has your name written all over it.

How do dog remote trainers work?
All you need to do is to attach a receiver to your dog’s collar and then you hold the remote in your hand. Whenever you press the remote, your dog receives a harmless static correction, but it is enough to make them stop what they are doing and pay attention to you. So you can use the remote trainer to retrain your dog and put an end to all of those frustrating behaviours, which have always seemed so unfixable.

You can purchase these dog training collars from K9 Collars and they will only sell you one after a consultation with their operations manager. This is because you can already guess that this type of dog training collar can easily be abused by some people, so they want to be sure that this training product will be used sensibly.

They give you a training guide as well, which shows you how to train your dog using the collar and are always available on the phone if you have any questions. For dogs with troublesome behaviour that you just can’t fix any other way, these dog remote trainers will sort your dog out pretty quick.

Why Should I Buy Dog Training Collars?

If you have the perfect dog that obeys all of your commands and never puts a paw wrong, then you don’t need to buy a dog training collar. If you are like most people however, and your dog thinks they are the boss and simply ignores most of your commands – except when it is time for a walk or play or it is dinner time, then you could most probably use some help from a dog training collar.

One of the most infuriating problems with dogs, is that they just don’t listen to you. They find a scent or hear another dog barking in the neighbourhood and everything else just disappears. You can tell them to stop barking until you are blue in the face, but they just don’t listen.

If this is your problem – then you need a stop barking collar for dogs.

Stop barking collars for dogs

These are a great tool to make your dog listen to your commands. At first they need to wear the collar because it will stop them barking, but you can add in your own commands and eventually they will listen to you and stop barking on your command.

The way these stop barking collars for dogs work is to give your dog a warning beep when they first bark and then if they bark again within 30 seconds, they are given a static correction. The correction and warning beep come from a sensor that is attached to the dog training collar and you can increase or decrease the strength of the correction depending on how your dog responds.

It won’ t take long for them to realise that the warning beep means that they need to stop barking and then you can add in your own command at that point. Your dog will very quickly associate the warning beep and your command with the need to stop barking and you will have a very obedient dog very soon.

If you have a little dog or a dog that is nervous, you can still use the dog training collars, but instead of a static correction you can buy one with a sonic correction. Whichever type of training device you decide to use, it will be well worth it to have a dog that listens to your commands and stops barking on cue.

Are dog training collars harmful for my pet?

If you have a troublesome dog who wanders all over your neighbourhood and won’t stay in your yard or a dog that barks all day long and annoys your neighbours, then you need to try the new range of dog training collars. These are specially designed to correct your dogs behaviour and do not harm your dog at all, but they do help you to retrain your dog so that they will respond to your commands and behave themselves.

There are three different types of training collars that you can purchase: stop barking collars for dogs, containment systems and remote trainers.

Stop barking collars for dogs

Sometimes we just need a little bit of extra help to train our dogs and that is where stop barking collars for dogs are so helpful. Your dog wears a dog training collar with a receiver that gives them a warning beep when they bark. If they bark again within 30 seconds, they will then receive a harmless static correction. This does give them a bit of a zip, but is harmless. If you have a little dog or a nervous dog however, you can purchase a collar that uses a sonic sound rather than a static correction - so you don’t have to worry about your little dog being scared.

Containment systems

These work on the same principle as the stop barking collars for dogs where they receive a warning beep and then a static correction if they approach your boundary line. Your dog wears a collar with a receiver that picks up a FM signal from a wire placed along your boundary which triggers a warning when they approach the wire and a static correction if they continue to approach your boundary.

Remote trainers

These are mostly used by professionals and are the same as the stop barking collars for dogs, but you have a remote control so you can correct your dog and teach them your voice commands quickly. These really help you to train your dog, but are not suitable for everyone. So be sure to do your research, before investing in any of these training collars, and your family dog will soon be a perfect member of your family.

Stop Your Dog from Nuisance Barking with Dog training collars

At K9 Collars we know how difficult it can be when your neighbours complain about your dog barking. It can even be annoying to you when your dog doesn’t respond to your commands to stop barking. The answer to your problem is a dog training collar, specifically stop barking collars for dogs.

These stop barking collars for dogs really do work extremely well, in fact you will be surprised at how quickly your dog changes their behaviour. You won’t have to worry about the neighbours complaining because your dog barks all day long at just about anything that moves. Your dog will be well behaved, giving you peace of mind and reducing your stress levels.

Stop barking collars for dogs – ongoing use

Once you see that your dog is responding well to the dog training collar, you can associate your command to stop barking with the corrective stimuli given to your dog. Many people find that they can remove these collars after a while and their dog continues to respond to their commands and stops barking when told to do so.

If you find that your dog starts to bark again when you are at work and when they are left alone, you can have your dog wear the collar when you go out and remove it when you are home.

At K9 Collars we also offer dog containment systems and dog remote trainers. That’s all we do – we help you change your dog’s behaviour for the better so that they fit in well with your family and don’t cause trouble in your neighbourhood.

In fact, we believe in what we do so much that we offer a 24hr helpline for all of our customers to help you with any ongoing problems you might have with your dog’s misbehaviour. We help you troubleshoot your dog’s behavioural issues so that you are happy with the results.

So if you have a problem dog, don’t keep worrying about it, give us a call and we can help you fix your dog’s behaviour once and for all.

Starting training your dog using K9 Collars products today

Sometimes we just need a little help to train our dogs, that’s why our dog training collars are so popular. At K9 Collars we have three different products that will cover any problems you might have with your dog. We have dog training collars to stop your dog barking incessantly, remote trainers so that you can teach your dog to obey your commands at a distance and dog containment systems to prevent your dog wandering away from your property.

So if you have any of these problems, check out our three different products and decide which is best for your situation:

Dog training collars: These are for dogs that bark all the time and are very simple to use and very effective at stopping your dog barking too much. They work by giving your dog a warning beep when they first bark and then following up with a corrective stimulation if they don’t stop barking. The corrections are customisable to your dog’s temperament and we even have dog training collars with sonic corrections for the little dogs.

Remote dog trainers: These help to train your dog to a whole host of different commands and are also very effective at deterring unwanted behaviours, such as digging or chasing wildlife. Very popular with professional trainers, the remote allows you to reinforce your commands with a corrective stimulation to your dog.

Dog containment systems: These are great for preventing your dog wandering off your property or to keep them away from vegetable gardens or other sensitive areas of your property. A wire is buried along your property line and receives a FM signal from your dog’s collar when they approach your boundary. Similar to the dog training collars, they receive a warning beep as they approach and if they don’t stop, they receive a corrective stimulation.

With our dog training collars, you can try them for free for a week before you buy them, to make sure that they are the right solution for you. If you have any questions or concerns, then feel free to call us on 1300 130 910 - and have a chat about how K9 Collars can help make training your dog a lot easier than ever before.

How to train your dog the easy way – K9 Collars Australia

I am sure that we all appreciate the skills of working dogs. It is great to watch working dogs round up a flock of sheep or see those ripper little cattle dogs nipping at the heels of cattle. And what about the Maremma dogs who saved the fairy penguins on Victoria’s Middle Island from foxes in 2009?

I take my hat off to all dog trainers around the world – they do an awesome job and a job that many of us fail at miserably. Hands up everyone whose dog barks too much, digs holes in the garden or gets a little too friendly with guests? For some of us it just seems so hard to train our dogs.

So if you have tried everything and your dog is still misbehaving, then maybe try a dog training collar from K9 Collars Australia.

How do the dog training collars work?

They are quite simple really. You just place the dog training collar around your dog’s neck with a receiver attached to it. When your dog barks, they receive a warning beep and if they don’t stop barking within 30 seconds they receive a short, harmless stimulation or correction.

They actually receive a short zap from the dog training collar which startles them (and you can change the settings on this yourself). If they stop barking the receiver resets to the lowest level, but if they keep barking the correction gets a little stronger each time.

It doesn’t take very long for your dog to learn that the warning beep means to be quiet. So it lets them give one bark and then retrains them to just stop and not bark all day long.

You can even purchase a sonic bark collar which only emits a high pitched noise when your dog barks – not a stimulating correction. These are great for little dogs whose hair might stand on end if they received even the smallest zap from a dog training collar. They are also good for dogs that are easily trained and pick up the meaning of the warning beep straight away.

K9 Collars Australia sell standard dog training collars as well as a deluxe collar and a sonic bark collar. You can rent them or purchase them from their website.

It’s good to know that training your dog can be so easy. Avoiding all the stress of a misbehaving dog makes life so much more pleasant for you and your family, and your dog will be so much happier living in your home.

How to train your dog the easy way – dog remote trainers and dog training collars

Do you have a dog with a problem behaviour? Maybe they dig all your roses up, chew your shoes or sofa, jump up at people all the time, kill wildlife in your garden or try to hump your male friends?

Well fear not – because dog remote trainers are here to help. Unfortunately, dog remote trainers are not little men who pop out of nowhere to correct your dog’s bad behaviour. They are an advanced technology involving dog training collars with a remote control - which makes it an awesome piece of gear to fix problem behaviours.

You might be happy to know that professional trainers use these dog training collars, so they must be good at making your dog behave.

HOW DOG TRAINING COLLARS WORK
Your dog wears a receiver on their collar and you have a remote control. Every time you see your dog doing something they shouldn’t – something important like digging massive holes in your yard, not looking at you cross-eyed – you press the remote control and they get a harmless, but seriously uncomfortable stimulation.

They soon learn that what they are doing is no longer a good idea. These dog remote trainers are also great if you are teaching your dog to walk off-lead as they associate the stimulation with a command.

The key to making this work is that you are consistent and that you do not abuse it. You should only use the dog training collars to correct inappropriate behaviour, not for amusement or to abuse your dog. I know you would never do that, but there are some people that may.

So whenever you buy one of these dog remote trainers be sure that you are doing it for the right reasons. And keep the remote out of the hands of young children or people who may think it funny to zip zap your poor dog for no good reason.
